The Componential Nedelsky Model A First Exploration

The Nedelsky model is based upon the simple idea that subjects reject some of the alternative answers and then draw their response from the remaining ones.The same idea provides the foundation for the componential Nedelsky model. Here, a multiple choice item is considered as a stimulus with known characteristics that the respondent is expected to recognize. The options give interpretations of the stimulus.
